The Benchmark group of companies (the “Company”) is committed to protecting your privacy. 

  1. The Company uses a third party to administer elements of its share plans on its behalf (the”Trustee”). The Trustee provides an essential role in the administration and operation of the share plans operated by the Company. The Trustee receives limited personal data from the Company necessary for the performance of its role as trustee and as required to fulfil statutory and regulatory obligations. The Company is confident of the adequacy of the protection of personal data offered by the Trustee. If a different Trustee were to be used in the future to administer its share plans, the Company would ensure the adequacy of the protection of personal data offered by that Trustee. Your personal data will be processed within the Company and transferred to and processed by the Trustee. Your personal data is only used by the Trustee to facilitate your participation in share plans and is not used for any other purpose.
  2. The Company will hold and process any personal information that you provide via the Benchmark Share Plan Portal (the “Website” or “the Portal”) or by submitting emails for the purposes of providing awards under share plans operated by it.
  3. The information held about you is limited to: your name, address, social security number, employee number and email addresses.
  4. In addition to the information we hold on you and that you submit to the Website, we may collect information about visits to the Website. We collect information on the page browser access and on the IP address from which the Website has been accessed. This is used to ensure the security of the Website and to improve the design and layout of the Website. None of this information is linked back to you as an individual.
  5. We may include in the Website links to websites of third parties. Please note that this privacy policy applies only to the contents of the Website and not to those websites to which we may provide a link.
  6. You have the right to request access to your personal information. To do so, please contact your HR representative. The Company and Trustee may require proof of identity from you prior to disclosing such information. This is to safeguard the security of your information.
  7. You also have the right to require your personal information to be corrected if it is inaccurate. To do so, or if you have any queries about this privacy policy, please contact your HR representative.

All personal information held about you is held and processed in accordance with the  European General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and other applicable data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act and the UK version of GDPR enacted under the European Withdrawal Act 2018 ("UK GDPR")
